12 weeks

Image
Julian is 12 weeks old as of yesterday. He's been working on rolling over, talking, and giggling. He wakes up a very happy boy in the mornings and loves to go for walks in the stroller. He likes to listen to The Beatles and has my dimple. Every day he shows us a little more of who he is and we fall deeper in love with this sweet boy. XO, Meg

Baltic Amber

Today I bought Julian a Baltic Amber necklace. I am so excited to get it in the mail and get it on his sweet little neck. In case you've never heard of the many uses of baltic amber, here is some basic info. "Historically, Baltic Amber has been used in Europe as a natural and traditional remedy and curative for many ailments for centuries. Long ago it was considered one of the leading medicines of its time. Baltic Amber is the most esteemed amber in the world, and the healing qualities of Baltic Amber make it unlike any other type of amber found in the world. When baltic amber is worn on the skin, the skin's warmth releases trace amounts of healing oils from the amber. These oils contain succinic acid and are absorbed into the skin. Baltic Amber has some of the highest concentrations of Succinic Acid found in nature, and this is what makes it so special. Succinic Acid is a natural component of plant and animal tissues, and it's presence in the human body is beneficial

Hey Jude

Soon afterwards, Paul McCartney drove out to visit Cynthia and her - and Lennon's - son Julian. "We'd been very good friends for millions of years and I thought it was a bit much for them suddenly to be personae non gratae and out of my life," McCartney said. Cynthia Lennon recalled, "I was truly surprised when, one afternoon, Paul arrived on his own. I was touched by his obvious concern for our welfare.... On the journey down he composed 'Hey Jude' in the car. I will never forget Paul's gesture of care and concern in coming to see us." The song's original title was "Hey Jules," and it was intended to comfort Julian Lennon from the stress of his parents' divorce. McCartney said, "I started with the idea 'Hey Jules,' which was Julian, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better. Hey,
